as I rise up to fall

Sorceress in mourning, in the lonely lair,
I sleep where the owl stays. At the edge
of oblivion where mosses grow, the lush
jasmine wears a lunar look

Stealthily, I walk an obscure route,
a road where no one tells the truth
where no one dares to protest…
war has taken over the big house,
ashes of my world once designated for
the threshold, are spilled over the
floor falling where craters formed and I
hid behind the door, hands over mouth
the moon cried out to me: rise, scatter

Putting away the mirror of life, I peer
into the deep hollows of a night so blown
as the sadness of all death seeps up
from broken concrete and earth
seeping through my fingertips,
invading me

  1. Pretty deep and sad stuff my Sister!
And that’s OK by me because it’s how I feel at times these days too! I know this world is so damaged and troubled to no end but the good news is it will end and that has been promised by the Almighty; so who am I to do anything but accept that and all ahead of me with gratitude with my deepest love; I have a chance and that is good enough for me because if not this; I would not exist!

Just was thinking about continuance of life but for our most beloved pets generally for me and others dogs are man’s best friends so in a comment I had to include this which says to me if such care and love exists above all of this universe for our four-legged friends how exceedingly perfect is what awaits us beyond our touch or comprehension as we are now, in this limited understanding!

“Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together…”
    Author unknown…

    God bless you!

    1. What a great response – yes, I am sad these days, it hurts to be human sometimes and that is how God made us. I know we are in tribulation and that the end may not come in our time, but it will come. The evil men who think they are in control of the earth’s destiny and even our individual destiny are really not in control, though often it’s hard to believe this. We must protect our souls above all because that is what they want to capture, perhaps murder. God protects us if we want Him to. Jesus returns, this time as mankind’s avenger.

      1. I want to tell you personally that I’m sad to inform you like this of some things I see in our messed up world and possibly make you sad more than you must already be! But Honesty always has been the best policy and still is, even more needed now than ever before, but, the non-sugar coating I employ at times really sucks and I hate to do it to be quite honest! Time is of the essence because each moment that truth is hidden from people is a possible loss of another soul! My Grandparents and Parents used to always say, “when the going gets tough the tough get going,” so I figure this world looks pretty bad on so many fronts that being tough is healthier than living in a delusion of getting stoned, or being a person who says whatever; and too many do!

You are so right to see the Tribulation before us, and the Holy Scriptures warn us of this very time and what it would look like!
“1But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come. 2For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good,” 2 Timothy 3:1,2

Dear Sister you said it perfect, “We must protect our souls. God protects us if we want Him to. Jesus returns, this time as mankind’s avenger.”
Yes he does and will come as He said with a “Sword of Truth and Justice!”

I hope these older postings will be of some additional help to you or anyone that reads your blog!
Thank you for motivating me with such a very good effort and one that is genuine! I really appreciate what you did here!
God bless you and keep you always!
        Brother in Christ Jesus,

Take care Cassandra! See you again soon!
